The adversary of Rev EMF Oshoffa is a persistent individual who has been pressuring the Pastor to continue with court cases at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi and the Appeal Court in Ibadan. Interestingly, this individual is a member of Celestial Church of Christ.
This person has influenced the Pastor to reject the idea of seeking peaceful co-existence within the Church, instead urging him to pursue legal action. When appearing in court, he presents himself as a supporter of Celestial Church of Christ, claiming that the registered Board of Trustees members are working towards establishing a church where members can worship independently, with M/S/E Banjo as the (Asiwuju) leader in the Church. He speaks highly of them, hoping for a favorable resolution.
Despite this faƧade, when visiting the Pastorās home in Mogodo, Lagos to update him on the situation, he reassures the Pastor that everything is going well and that the Judge has indicated a victory for Pastor EMF Oshoffa. However, he fails to mention that he has actually pleaded on the Pastorās behalf in court.
It is clear that this individualās actions are not aligned with his words, and his true intentions remain questionable. This manās intention is to continue pressuring the Pastor into a difficult situation, leading to embarrassment in court, all due to the money he has been receiving from the Pastor to handle legal matters. Itās alleged that huge amount of money has been exchanging hands in the course of this process.
This individual worships in parishes of the church within the western region of the country and his member of the senior cadet in ranks and file, he as actively discouraged the Pastor from seeking reconciliation with certain Elders due to personal motives. He has stated that if Rev EMF Oshoffa loses in the lower court, he will pursue the case in the court of appeal, citing the lengthy legal battle of Late Rev Bada as an example.
Residing in the western region of the country, specifically in Lagos and Ekiti State, while he worship with the region, this man apologizes for the Pastor in court but deceives him in person, falsely assuring the Pastor of victory and advising against reconciliation, despite knowing the Pastorās actions have violated Nigerian laws.
As we often recite in our congregational services, Psalm 72 verse 9 states, āThey that dwell in the wilderness before us, and the enemies of this Church shallā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦
