The atmosphere was filled with joy, thanksgiving and Christian fellowship as dignitaries, shepherds and members gathered for the 51st Adult Harvest Thanksgiving of Celestial Church of Christ, Omo Alade Alafia Parish 1, Bariga, Lagos State, held on Sunday, 13th September 2026.
The celebration attracted notable personalities within the Church, including Most Senior Evangelist S.O. Banjo, the Doyen of CCC and Member of the Board of Trustees (BOT), alongside Venerable Superior Evangelist Yomi Oni, Venerable Superior Evangelist Jonathan Adepegba, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Demuren, and other distinguished guests and shepherds.
Venerable Superior Evangelist Jonathan Adepegba served as the Service Conductor, coordinating the proceedings with reverence and order while guiding the congregation through the various stages of the thanksgiving service.
During the thanksgiving prayer during the service, Most Senior Evangelist S.O. Banjo, the Doyen of CCC and Member of the BOT, offered prayers for the Thanksgiving, committing the celebrants, the parish and the entire Church into the hands of God.
The sermon was delivered by Venerable Superior Evangelist Yomi Oni, Shepherd of CCC King of Kings Cathedral, Lagos State, and Shepherd of CCC New Jerusalem Parish, Londonwho admonished the congregation on the importance of gratitude, faith and continued commitment to the work of God.
Beyond the spiritual activities, the occasion also provided an opportunity for church leaders, members and guests to share moments of fellowship and merriment. The gathering reflected the unity, love and joyful spirit associated with the annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving celebration.
The 51st Adult Harvest Thanksgiving therefore became another memorable chapter in the history of CCC Omo Alade Alafia Parish 1, as worshippers celebrated God’s faithfulness while also strengthening the bonds of fellowship in Celestial Church of Christ.
