Calvary greetings to all in the Mighty Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I bring you good tidings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Within the Celestial Church of Christ, there are established administrative procedures, hierarchies, departments and leadership standards that guide the governance and administration of the Church worldwide. Since the time of our Pastor Founder, Saint SBJ Oshoffa, successive pastoral administrations have continued to introduce leadership approaches and administrative procedures aimed at strengthening the Church’s governance, institutional structure and operational effectiveness.
However, irrespective of the leadership style or administrative approach adopted by successive administrations, the responsibilities and functions assigned to established departments must never be sidelined, overlooked, undermined or misrepresented.
One such important department is the Warden Department, popularly known as the Oni-Bode. The Wardens have consistently played a significant role as the custodians of order, security and discipline within the Church, helping to maintain safety, proper conduct and decorum across Celestial Church of Christ parishes.
In recognition of this responsibility, the CCC United Kingdom Diocese has equally established its administrative procedures and formally recognised the functions and responsibilities of the Wardens within its diocesan administrative structure.
Following the arrival of His Eminence, Rev. Pastor EMF Oshoffa, to the United Kingdom on Tuesday, 27th October 2026, for his pastoral visit, the Wardens were fully mobilised and alert in the discharge of their responsibilities, helping to maintain safety, security, order and proper coordination throughout the engagement.
It is therefore important to put certain matters into their proper perspective and provide the necessary clarification. For the avoidance of doubt, the reception of the Pastor in the United Kingdom was led by the Head of Diocese, Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Bola Olaleye, who personally led other diocesan delegates and members to welcome His Eminence.
It must be clearly understood that this was an official diocesan engagement conducted under the authority and leadership of the Head of Diocese. No individual or department independently assumed the responsibility of organising or leading the Pastor’s reception outside the knowledge, direction and authority of the diocesan leadership.
The UK Diocese has consistently maintained, through its administrative resolutions and established mandate, that the Wardens constitute its recognised task force, with responsibilities encompassing security, guidance, protocol, order and the implementation of established procedures within the Diocese. Their functions also extend to designated public engagements, official occasions and other diocesan activities, including events connected with pastoral visits to the United Kingdom.
The Celestial Church of Christ must therefore understand that the UK Diocese, under the leadership of Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Bola Olaleye, remains committed to respecting and upholding the administrative procedures, hierarchy and institutional standards of the worldwide Church.
At the same time, the Diocese has a responsibility to operate within a clearly defined administrative organogram that reflects the applicable laws, safeguarding expectations and operational requirements of the United Kingdom.
This means that while the Diocese respects the global administrative framework of the Church, it must equally maintain clearly defined departmental responsibilities and operational procedures within its own jurisdiction. Every department has its recognised functions, and every leadership position deserves the respect and recognition attached to its responsibilities.
The Warden Department must therefore be accorded its rightful recognition and respect as the established and certified task force of the CCC UK Diocese, comprising both male and female Wardens. Their responsibilities must not be confused with those of other departments, nor should their established functions be diminished or transferred without proper diocesan authorisation.
I wish to use this medium to express my sincere appreciation to all our male and female Wardens for their beautiful, commendable and outstanding service during the Pastor’s visit. Your commitment, vigilance, discipline and dedication were highly appreciated. I equally acknowledge and appreciate the support and cooperation of other departments and organs of the Diocese, whose contributions helped make the engagement successful.
Let us continue to respect our institutional structures, recognise departmental responsibilities, uphold the authority of diocesan leadership and work together in unity, discipline and the fear of God.
May God Almighty continue to bless the CCC UK Diocese under the leadership of Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Bola Olaleye. May He also bless His Eminence, Rev. Pastor EMF Oshoffa, and the entire Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
God bless the CCC UK Diocese. God bless CCC Worldwide.
Halleluyah!
