In our Church, one of the most sacred and defining exercises remains the Anointment Exercise, a spiritual and administrative process that outlines the duties, responsibilities, and divine expectations of every member in the vineyard of God. This process is not merely ceremonial; it reflects years of commitment, discipline, spiritual growth, and unwavering dedication to the mandate of the Church.
It is within this sacred framework that a son of the Pastor Founder, Benjamin Oshoffa has been elevated to the rank of Venerable Superior Evangelist. Known for his outspoken nature and firm stance on matters concerning Church administration, Benjamin Oshoffa has, over the years become a notable voice within the fold. While his views have attracted both support and criticism, his courage to speak and engage on critical issues has remained undeniable.
His journey in the vineyard is one marked by growth and experience. About 15 years ago, he served at the Pastorās Office in Ketu, Lagos State, where he gained firsthand exposure to the administrative workings of the Church. In pursuit of deeper spiritual and doctrinal understanding, he proceeded to the CCC Seminary School, equipping himself with knowledge of scripture and Church ordinances.
In 2018, he was posted to CCC Ijaye Cathedral, Abeokuta, Ogun State, where he served as an Assistant Shepherd with the rank of Assistant Superior Evangelist. This phase of his ministry further strengthened his leadership capacity, particularly in areas of human management, pastoral care, and conflict resolution.
The call to international service came in 2022 when he was ordained as the Shepherd of CCC Great Oshoffa Cathedral, Chicago, USA, holding the rank of Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist. His leadership in the diaspora has been instrumental in sustaining the spiritual and administrative integrity of the Parish.
After nearly two decades of consistent service, commitment, and spiritual labor in the vineyard, his elevation to the rank of Venerable Superior Evangelist stands as a testament to his journey, resilience, and dedication to the work of God.
This elevation not only recognizes his years of service but also reinforces the Churchās commitment to rewarding diligence and spiritual growth. We heartily congratulate VSE Benjamin Oshoffa on this well-deserved elevation and pray for greater grace in his continued service to God and humanity.

Hallelujah Sir/Ma,
I would like to respectfully raise a concern regarding the recent elevation of Shepherd Benjamin to the rank of VSE. While we honor leadershipās authority and decisions, this development has created some confusion among members.
It appears that a relatively younger clergy with 8 years (2018 – 2026) of shepherdship has been elevated, while others with over 30 years of service and greater seniority have not received similar recognition. This seems inconsistent with the earlier communication that indicated such elevations would be reserved for clergy aged 70 and above.
I believe situations like this can affect morale, particularly among senior clergy who have labored faithfully for many years, as well as others who look to the church for clear and consistent standards.
With respect, I ask for clarification on this matter so that understanding, unity, and confidence in leadership can be strengthened. CP is only pushing a narative that has been paid for. Politics in the house of God na wayo.
Respectfully.
