AGAIN! COURT RECONVENE BY 27TH OF SEPTEMBER 2023.
July 4, 2023, the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, welcomed the continuation of the lawsuit filed by the defunct BOT led by M/S/E Banjo through their advocate Barrister Wale (SAN) challenging the authorization of Rev EMF Oshofa Pastor on the dissolution of the Registered Board of Trustees.
His Lordship Justice Peter Iifiu dealt with Case No. FHC/L/CS/565/2022, which all worshipers of Celestial Church of Christ talk about. The Judge hears from both legal advisers about their presentation of the peace mediation process. Rev EMF Pastor Oshoffa lawyer who also occupied the seat of the Church secretary in the new BOT (Obafemi Adewale SAN) explained that the Pastor’s absence from the country must be taken into consideration along with his medical condition. Obafemi said the peace meeting should reopen at the end of October, when the Pastor should’ve returns to the country. He also told the court that the Pastor’s health also affected the conduct before he travelled out.
But; Judge Peter Ifitu was quick to correct Obafemi impression of the Pastor medical condition. The Judge told him that he had once met with the Pastor at the funeral of late M/C (Judge) Ajibike which held at Osogbo, Osun State. Judge Ifitu said despite the eye condition of the Pastor, he saw him walking with the assistance of a fair in complexion woman on that particular day. Justice Ifitu said his court shouldn’t be subject into delay method with the Pastor health.
The Judge then conclude that he would resume from his annual leave on September 24, 2023, while he will commence the trial on September 27, 2023 under the oath summons. The judge said, giving both sides more than 30 months to settle the matter out of court is enough.
Reverend EMF Oshoffa and his advisers kudos to you all . Imagine a lawyer defending a matter he is also a party to as member of the unregistered BOT is standing as the defence counsel and also an arbitrator . " Ekebeke soro iroparo foniro 23 24 loro Ile aiye" he will never advise the pastor rightly rather will keep on with delay tactics to buy time and further frustrate the whole processes consideeing the fact that Baba Banjo is old and buying time waiting for his clarion call . Same lawyer will further propose that they appeal the case which will take another years before the final pronouncement of the supreme court. I am sure he knew he would have gone also and if he will be alive ,then he will not escape Karma .
I have mentioned it and I will mention it again , Pastor does not want reconciliation, his advisers enjoy the power and relevance they have now so forget about peaceful mediation .
Celestial church of Christ matter is beyond court rather it's divinity in which alot of leaders will regret when showing them their records on that great day for deceiving the sheeps being handed over to them . Alot will start receiving the punishment while on earth for derailing from the foundation as laid down by the holy spirit through the Pastor founder . The pastor is not exonerated from this reality because he allowed obsession and greed to penetrate God's kingdom . These are strong tools of devil for destabilising God's kingdom .
God please intervene, ignore their deficiencies and save your church .
