The Pastor has made the decision to increase the number of Assistant Most Superior Evangelists among the senior clergy in the Church. This decision was made solely by the Pastor.
Following our publication on the 11th May 2024, where the Pastor announced the promotion of 11 clergies to higher ranks, there was some controversy among members who felt that some key shepherds with clean records were left out.
But on 26th December 2024 at Imeko, the Pastor anointed Aladeseye, Adeyinka, Talon and Olajide to the rank of Assistant Most Superior Evangelist. Additionally, the Patron of CCC Ibara Cathedral, Ogunremi, was elevated to the rank of Venerable Superior Evangelist.
However, the ongoing exclusion of VSE Afi Kiki name from the list of new ranks has sparked debate within the Church. The Pastor has failed to provide a reason for denying the Shepherd of CCC National Headquarters, Makoko, the recognition he rightfully deserves. This issue raises concerns about fairness and transparency within the Church hierarchy.
