As anticipation continues to build toward the forthcoming USA Diocese Biennial Convention, a respected clergy within the fold, AVSE Daniel Olalekan Awoyemi who is also a member of CCC Ileri Oluwa Parish, Houston, Texas, USA has described the gathering as a divine moment for spiritual renewal and transformation.
According to AVSE Awoyemi, the USA Diocese under the leadership of AMSE Joseph Olorunnisola has remained steadfast in upholding the true purpose of God for the Church in the Western world. He noted that the Diocese has continued to preserve the core doctrines, spiritual discipline, and evangelistic mandate of Celestial Church of Christ despite the challenges of operating in a foreign environment.
Speaking ahead of the convention scheduled to hold from 30th April to 3rd May 2026 at the prestigious Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick Airport Hotel in New England USA, AVSE Awoyemi emphasized that the gathering will serve as more than just a routine event, but a life-transforming encounter with God.
“This convention will be another opportunity for members to experience God in a new dimension,” he stated. “It is a time to listen, to learn, and to be spiritually reawakened as true believers in Christ and committed members of Celestial Church of Christ.”
He further encouraged members across the globe to take full advantage of the convention, highlighting its importance as a platform for spiritual education, unity, and rededication to the principles of the Church. According to him, such gatherings strengthen the faith of members and reinforce the global identity of the Church.
The USA Diocese Biennial Convention is expected to bring together ministers, workers, and faithful from various parishes across the United States and beyond, all united with a shared purpose to seek the face of God and advance His kingdom. As the countdown continues, expectations remain high that this year’s convention will leave a lasting spiritual impact on attendees and further solidify the mission of the Church in the diaspora.
