What an incredible gathering it was! The senior sister to the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Jackson Adeleke, in person of Yeyeluwa Dupe Adeleke Sanni hosted a burial party to honor her late father, Alhaji Tohir Aderemi Sanni, who passed away at age 74 on the 25th of February 2024.
Last weekend, in Ede town, where Alhaji Tohir Aderemi Sanni came from, a grand party took place. The event was attended by prestigious dignitaries such as Governors, Senators, Honorable Members of Federal and State Assemblies, State Commissioners, Judges, Captains of Industry, traditional leaders and religious figures. Among them was the Shepherd of CCC Wonderland Model Parish in Osogbo, Osun State, A/V/S/E Olumide Gangbe who graced the occasion to pay tribute to the departed soul.
As the Iya Ijo of CCC Wonderland Model Parish in Osogbo, Yeyeluwa Dupe Adeleke Sanni acknowledge the tireless efforts of her shepherd during the difficult time of her late husband’s illness. She also express her gratefulness for the unwavering support of the servant of God to her family after the passing of Alhaji Tohir Aderemi Sanni. In a brief but powerful message, A/V/S/E Olumide Gangbe urged Alhaja Dupe Adeleke Sanni to deepen her faith in God, as He is the one who gives life and decides when to call a soul home. He offered prayers for the family to find the strength to cope with the loss of a man who truly loved his family and friends.
It was a gathering filled with gratitude, respect and a sense of unity as everyone came together to honor the memory of Alhaji Tohir Aderemi Sanni. The presence of such esteemed guests made the event truly special and memorable.
