The USA Convention recently honored the first shepherd in Central Europe with a prestigious award at the 2024 Biennial National Convention in Indianapolis USA. The Congress of Celestial Church of Christ in the United States of America unanimously recognized the late V/S/E OLANIYAN for his outstanding commitment to the evolution of God work’s during his lifetime.
The posthumous award of meritorious service was a fitting tribute to the senior clergy who passed away on the 29th August 2023. Diocese secretary A/V/S/E Adewusi highlighted the significant impact of Late V/S/E Olaniyan as a shepherd and father figure to everyone in the Diocese. His legacy of unity, harmony and dedication to the collective mission of God in the Church will always be remembered and cherished.
The award statement says “ In a cherished remembrance of his life long dedication, commitment and loyal service as the first shepherd in Central Europe and the supervisor of region F for eight years. VSE OLANIYAN remained a man of peace, love, meekness and endurance. He was a tireless prayer warrior, an apostle of reconciliation and a great mentor. Indeed, a faithful disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. May his rest be glorious in the beauty and joy of heaven.

The convention was a celebration of faith, doctrinal teaching, and the enduring spirit of service exemplified by Late V/S/E OLANIYAN and other anointed shepherds whom as worked and still working for the establishment of God purpose. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us as we strive to uphold his legacy of love and devotion to God.
