The United Kingdom Diocese of Celestial Church of Christ is set to commemorate the 79th CCC Founder’s Day with a special programme designed to honour the heritage of the church while encouraging members to remain committed to its spiritual vision and future growth.
The Founder’s Day celebration is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m., at CCC Harton Street Parish National Headquarters, 8 Harton Street, London SE8 4DD. The programme is expected to bring together members of the Celestial Church of Christ for a day of worship, reflection, teaching and fellowship.
The theme of this year’s celebration is “Preserving the Legacy, Advancing the Vision,” with biblical references drawn from Jeremiah 6:16 and Hebrews 13:7. The theme places emphasis on the importance of remembering the spiritual heritage handed down through the generations while also looking ahead to the continued development and advancement of the church.
According to the programme outlined by the UK Diocese, the celebration will feature a number of spiritual activities throughout the day. These include Prophetic Consultation, Prayer Ministration, Song Ministrations, Bible Teaching and Youth Ministrations, providing opportunities for members across different generations to participate actively in the celebration.
The choice of the theme, “Preserving the Legacy, Advancing the Vision,” also highlights the relationship between the history of the Celestial Church of Christ and its future. Founder’s Day provides an opportunity for members to reflect on the foundation, sacrifices and spiritual heritage of the church, while considering how that heritage can be carried forward responsibly by present and future generations.
The UK Diocese has therefore invited members and friends of the church to participate in the celebration under the banner: “Join us as we honour our heritage and build a greater future in Christ.” The programme is expected to run from noon until 10:00 p.m. on September 29, bringing together worship, teaching, music, prayer and youth-focused activities.
For the Celestial Church of Christ community, the 79th Founder’s Day represents an important moment to celebrate its heritage and reaffirm the values that have sustained the church through the decades, while looking towards a future guided by faith, unity, spiritual growth and continued service to God.
