In a decisive move toward restoring harmony and strengthening the bond of fellowship within the United Kingdom Diocese, the management committee of UK Dicoses convened a reconciliation meeting with members of CCC Harton Street Parish, National Headquarters, London, United Kingdom.
The high-level meeting, held on Sunday, 19th April 2026 was spearheaded by the Reconciliation Committee under the leadership of Prophet Dele Breck, who has been entrusted with the critical responsibility of addressing and resolving disputes within the Diocese. The engagement brought together key stakeholders, elders, and parishioners in a sincere effort to foster understanding, healing, and lasting peace.
Also present at the meeting was the Head of the UK Management Committee, VSE Ayo Osho, alongside his team who attentively listened to the concerns raised by members of the parish. The parishioners openly expressed their discomfort regarding certain incidents, particularly the events surrounding the Pastor’s visit in September 2023, and the disruption of a Sunday Glorious Service on 3rd March 2024, reportedly led by a former Head of Diocese. However, in a message delivered, the Pastor has called for a meeting with the Elders of the Parish.
The elders further voiced their concerns over what they described as a lack of adequate engagement and opportunity to present their side of the story to the Church leadership during those periods of tension. Responding to these concerns, the Reconciliation Committee and VSE Ayo Osho reassured the congregation of the Church leadership’s renewed commitment to transparency, truth, and unity. They emphasized that the era of misinformation and misrepresentation reaching the office of the Pastor, Rev. Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa, is over, affirming that the Pastor’s primary interest remains the promotion of unity, peace, and spiritual growth across all parishes.
VSE Ayo Osho highlighted the proactive efforts of the UK Management Committee in addressing challenges within the Diocese, noting that their track record reflects a commitment to openness, inclusiveness, and reconciliation. However, in a message delivered, the Pastor has called for a meeting with the Elders of the Parish.
In his words:
“The Pastor is a father to all. His desire is for us to worship in peace and unity, with utmost reverence to God. He approved our presence here today because he understands the situation and is deeply committed to a united Diocese across the United Kingdom. Let us give peace a chance, as the Scripture admonishes us.”
The message resonated strongly with the congregation, as elders and parishioners responded with renewed commitment to peace. They pledged their willingness to cooperate fully with the UK Management Committee and to embrace dialogue as a means of resolving future concerns.
The meeting concluded on a hopeful note, marking a significant step toward reconciliation and reaffirming the collective resolve of the Church to uphold unity, love, and spiritual harmony within the CCC family in the United Kingdom.
