It was a glorious and memorable moment at Celestial Church of Christ, King’s Pavilion Parish, London, as members of the parish were formally investitured in accordance with the Church’s doctrine and liturgy.
The colourful gathering brought together members of the parish, led by the Shepherd, Prophet Ayo Jessey Johnson, alongside senior clergy, family members and well-wishers who came to witness the significant occasion.
Speaking on the significance of the new rank, the Shepherd explained the importance of the elevation to the newly investitured members, reminding them that the new rank comes with greater responsibility and a renewed commitment to the service of God.
In the same vein, the Public Relations Officer of the United Kingdom Diocese, Venerable Superior Evangelist Tunji Bakare, who was among the senior clergy who graced the investiture, charged the newly investitured members to regard their new ranks and garments as a call to greater service and dedication to God.
VSE Tunji Bakare encouraged them to continue walking in the path of righteousness, demonstrating commitment to the work of God and conducting themselves as worthy ambassadors of Celestial Church of Christ.
He further urged them to contribute meaningfully to the propagation of the Gospel by preaching and proclaiming the Gospel and teaching the Word of our Lord Jesus Christ.
