In an inspiring display of dedication and faith, Pastor EMF Oshoffa led a service at the cemetery on Saturday (19th April 2025) before Easter celebrations, symbolizing the resurrection of Jesus Christ as outlined in section 99 (E) of our Church Constitution. The National Headquarters at Makoko was filled with members of the Parish who came out in full force to participate in the service.
Despite the heavy downpour of rain, Pastor Oshoffa stood at the center stage, embodying the spirit of sacrifice and commitment as he preached to the congregation. The service, which began before the rain started, continued without interruption as the Pastor remained steadfast in his mission to spread the message of love and unity.
Despite the loss of audio sound, the Pastor did not relent in fulfilling his responsibilities as the spiritual head of the Church. He preached without any sound system, passionately speaking on the value of Jesus Christ, his mission, and the sacrifices he made for humanity. The Pastor urged members to always walk in the path of God’s love for peaceful co-existence.
During the 50-minute sermon, the Pastor implored members to have hearts filled with respect, appreciation, and joy towards one another, as Jesus Christ exemplifies positive manifestation. It was an inspiring message that left everyone feeling uplifted and motivated to spread love and kindness to each other.
With Rev. EMF Oshoffa’s physical presence and unwavering leadership, the members of the Church were inspired to stand strong in the face of adversity. The Pastor’s willingness to stand in the rain alongside the congregation exemplifies the endlessly sacrifices of members of Celestial Church of Christ.
