In a firm and unequivocal declaration, Rev Pastor EMF Oshoffa has reaffirmed the irrevocable position of the Church regarding the venue of its Annual December Convocation: Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State.
This announcement, now widely circulated across major Celestial platforms and social media spaces, reinforces the original proclamation of the Pastor Founder, Saint Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa, who decreed that Imeko, the sacred land divinely chosen and consecrated remains the Jerusalem of Celestial Church of Christ. According to the Founder’s directive, all annual convocations and holy pilgrimages must continue to take place in Imeko.
Reacting to the recent pronouncement issued under the aegis of the CST (C.C.C. Reconciliation Committee, Benin Republic), which attempted to redirect the Annual December Pilgrimage to Seme Beach, Porto Novo, Benin Republic, Reverend EMF Oshoffa declared such directive “UNACCEPTABLE” and affirmed that it will not be recognized nor implemented by the International and World Headquarters of the Church located in Ketu, Lagos, and Imeko, Ogun State.
The Pastor made it categorically clear that: “Any directive asking members of the Celestial Church of Christ to converge at Seme Beach for the annual convocation should be completely disregarded.”
He emphasized that the Church under his spiritual leadership remains unwavering in upholding the Founder’s original divine instructions. The Pastor’s reaffirmation settles ongoing concerns and confusion among members worldwide regarding the sanctity and permanence of Imeko as the spiritual convergence point of CCC.
With this declaration, the Church reiterates that:
The Annual Convocation must continue to hold at Celestial City, Imeko.
No external committee or unauthorized body possesses the spiritual or administrative authority to alter the Founder’s mandate.
Imeko remains the enduring symbol of unity, spiritual renewal, and pilgrimage for Celestians across the globe.
The 2025 Imeko Annual Convocation is officially scheduled to begin on: 20th December till 25th December 2025 Venue: Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State, Nigeria.
The Church leadership calls on all Parishes, Dioceses, and members worldwide to prepare prayerfully and logistically for this sacred annual gathering.
