In a significant and long-awaited move towards unity, reconciliation, and healing, Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Ebenezer Bodunrin Oshoffa, a principal member of the historic (OBAA) families Oshoffa, Bada, Ajanlekoko, and Ajose has convened an emergency round-table peace meeting aimed at restoring harmony among the founding fathers’ bloodlines within Celestial Church of Christ.
The meeting, held at CCC Olowu Cathedral, Lagos Island, brought together representatives of all four families whose patriarchs played foundational roles in the continued establishment, stability, and global spread of Celestial Church of Christ.
A/M/S/E Ebenezer Oshoffa, serving as mediator and convener opened the session with heartfelt appeals rooted in love, memory, and shared heritage. He reminded attendees of the deep sacrifices made by the patriarchs Rev. SBJ Oshoffa, Rev. AA Bada, Sup/Evang Ajanlekoko, and Rev Ajose who laboured not for division, but for the growth, unity, and spiritual purity of the Church.
He emphasized that the Pastor Founder held profound love and respect for Baba Bada, Baba Ajanlekoko, and Baba Ajose, and that their bond was a brotherhood that transcended leadership roles. The convener also reflected on childhood memories in Ketu, describing the era as “ENVIED HARMONY,” where every family related with affection, openness, and mutual loyalty.
The emergency dialogue allowed each family to voice concerns, settle long-standing misunderstandings, and correct lingering misconceptions fueled over time by internal tensions and external influences. According to the convener, all pending points of disagreement were duly trashed, clarified, and reconciled a breakthrough long prayed for by well-meaning Celestians.
The atmosphere of the meeting was described as spiritually charged, emotionally healing, and guided by the Holy Spirit. A/M/S/E Ebenezer Oshoffa assured the gathering that he would personally follow through on all resolutions reached, ensuring that decisions made will lead to lasting peace and a final solution in the interest of what the four families represent within the global mission of Celestial Church of Christ.
He further encouraged all members to hold fast to the legacy of unity handed down by the founding fathers and to reject any voice or platform promoting division, bitterness, or strife.
With renewed commitment to peace, the families present expressed gratitude for the initiative and pledged to continue on the path of mutual respect and reconciliation. Celestians across the world are optimistic that this milestone will birth a new era of harmony among the church’s key heritage families and strengthen the unity of the global fold.
