There are moments in the life of a church when Heaven touches Earth, when a single message ignites hearts, revives spirits, and reminds the faithful of the mystery of divine calling. Such was the sacred atmosphere at Celestial Church of Christ Losi Oba Parish, Ikorodu, on Sunday, 8th June 2025, as Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa, son of the founding Pastor, brought forth a prophetic, stirring sermon that moved the congregation to deep reflection and holy rejoicing.
The theme of his ministration could be captured in one profound declaration: “WHEN GOD CALLS!” With power and humility, Evangelist Oshoffa walked the congregation through the timeless truth that God’s call is not based on human qualification but on divine election. Drawing on powerful examples from Scripture Moses in the wilderness, Saul on the road to Damascus, and the Lord Jesus calling fishermen to become apostles—he challenged the church to examine whether they had truly answered their own call.
“God is still calling men today,” he declared, “not just to pulpit ministry, but to obedience, to holiness, to service, to stand as light in dark places.”
The packed parish auditorium fell into a holy hush at times and erupted in thunderous Halleluyah at others, as the anointing flowed through every word. Many described it as a divine visitation, especially because this was Evangelist Oshoffa’s first time ministering in that parish. His presence carried not just name and legacy, but a palpable grace that stirred souls.
The Shepherd of CCC Losi Oba Parish, VSE Hopo in his remarks, welcomed Evangelist Oshoffa with honor and gratitude, saying: “We thank God for using His servant to wake us up. This is not just a visit; it is an encounter with destiny.”
