“Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12.
Birthdays are not mere dates on a calendar; they are sacred milestones—divine reminders of God’s enduring mercy and purpose in our lives. As Venerable Superior Evangelist Olasunkanmi Aaron Omidiora adds another year to his impactful journey on earth, we pause with hearts of deep gratitude to the Almighty God, the giver and sustainer of life, who continues to keep His servant under the shadow of His wings.
In the ancient and historic city of Ile Ife—renowned for its heritage and rich co-existence, God planted the seed of destiny in the form of a child, just as He did in Bethlehem. From birth, it was clear that this child was not ordinary. God’s mandate over his life began to unfold from an early age. With God grace- Venerable Superior Evangelist Olasunkanmi Aaron Omidiora was born. He had his elementary and secondary education in the ancient city.
In 1978, V/S/E Omidiora joined Celestial Church of Christ fold at CCC Oroto Parish, Ile Ife Osun State. His decision marked the beginning of a journey of transformation—one rooted in devotion, spiritual discipline, and unwavering service to God. Like every chosen vessel, his path was structured by divine timing and ecclesiastical order. In 1980, he was baptized in accordance with Section 99(a) of the Church Constitution. The baptism was officiated by Superior Evangelist Adefioye, the shepherd of CCC Iloro Parish, Ile Ife, now known as Basilica Cathedral, Ile Ife. At the time, A/M/S)E Falade served as the District Evangelist of the entire Ile Ife region. This spiritual milestone served as a gateway for V/S/E Omidiora’s deeper manifestation in the Kingdom agenda. He was no longer just a follower; he became a vessel equipped to operate in the full counsel of God.

The next chapter of his journey was marked by both talent and calling. In year 1984, when Most Superior Evangelist Ajao was posted to CCC Iloro Parish, Ile Ife by the Pastor Founder, Rev. SBJ Oshoffa, V/S/E Omidiora continued his worship and service with renewed zeal. His love for sacred music led him to the parish choir where his voice became a heavenly instrument. Through sheer dedication, he rose to become the Choir Master, using his harmonica voice to lead songs of praise and thanksgiving. But God had even more in store.
In 1986, his divine appointment as a Prophet was revealed, marking his transition into prophetic ministry. This was not just a title, but a sacred trust that would guide his interactions, prayers, and leadership in Celestial Church of Christ till date, as he received the spiritual message of becoming a full time church worker, while he registered as a Shepherd in year 1991. In his pursuit of building a stronghold of financial independence and spiritual clarity, Venerable Superior Evangelist Omidiora arrived in Lagos State in 1997. It was at Celestial Church of Christ, Oregun Parish 2, Ikeja, that he continued his journey of divine alignment, serving diligently as the parish “Woilder.” Known for his unwavering commitment to prophetic declarations and spiritual integrity, his dedication quickly drew attention.
Recognizing his devotion to God’s work, the then Pastor, Rev A.A. Bada transferred him in 1999 to serve as the Shepherd of CCC Oreofe Parish, Lagos State. There, V/S/E Omidiora distinguished himself through exemplary leadership, piloting the parish with wisdom and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. In 2003, the Head of the Church, Rev Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa further entrusted him with greater responsibility by appointing him as Assistant Shepherd of CCC Akiode Cathedral, Lagos State. His mission: to promote the foundational ordinances of Celestial Church and to spread the pure gospel of Jesus Christ. While faithfully discharging his duties, tragedy struck in 2004 with the loss of his beloved wife. Yet, even amid personal sorrow, he remained firm and resolute in the faith of salvation.
Later that same year, V/S/E Omidiora was transferred to CCC Alfa Omega Parish, Okokomaiko, Lagos State. His presence there left an indelible mark, marked by spiritual revival and progress. In recognition of his impact, Rev. EMF Oshoffa transferred him again in 2008 to CCC El-Bethel Model Parish, Ayobo, Lagos State, a move that would further expand the reach of his pastoral influence. The divine mandate for salvation was reaffirmed during his tenure at CCC Ifako 1 Parish, Lagos State, where he was transferred in 2014. Over the course of four impactful years, he not only shepherded the flock but also served as a Province Head, strengthening ecclesiastical structure and fostering growth.
In 2014, V/S/E Omidiora’s trail of spiritual excellence continued as he assumed leadership at CCC Majemu Oluwa Cathedral, Lagos State. His tenure was marked by divine manifestations and purposeful leadership. In year 2017, Pastor Rev. EMF Oshoffa in a spirit-led move, transferred him to CCC Ojodu Central Parish, Lagos State. This latest assignment reaffirmed his calling as a vessel chosen to uphold truth, discipline, and the evangelistic mission of the Church.
Today, as we celebrate another year in the life of V/S/E Omidiora, we do not merely mark his age—we honor a lifetime of obedience, spiritual growth, and sacrificial service to God. He is a man who has consistently walked in alignment with the divine call, and through him, many lives have been touched, healed, and uplifted.
