STATEMENT ON DECEMBER 17, 2023
In light of the recent successful harvest, Prophet Ogundipe feels compelled to express the overwhelming joy that was experienced. It is important to clarify that his public explanation of the dream he shared on the day of the harvest was not intended to declare himself as the PASTOR of the Church or to create a negative atmosphere. Rather, it was a means to faithfully carry out the instructions of the Holy Spirit and receive the blessings attached to those instructions.
Prophet Ogundipe reveals that ever since he received the dream and the instructions from Rev SBJ Oshoffa, he has diligently engaged in prayer and sought God’s guidance for the interpretation of the message. On the day of the harvest, he fasted as directed by the Holy Spirit. It is worth noting that he did not inform his mother or his wife about the dream initially. However, upon receiving the green light to publicly announce the process of his wife’s spiritual upliftment, he made the decision to act in accordance with God’s directives.
As a servant of God, it is incumbent upon Prophet Ogundipe to strictly adhere to God’s directives without considering the reactions of individuals. This unwavering commitment to obedience is a fundamental aspect of his role.
I AM NOT A PASTOR IN CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST.
Contrary to the false information being spread, Prophet Israel Ogundipe has confirmed that he never declared himself as the pastor of the church, nor did he instruct anyone to do so on his behalf. He further explains that he has been a grateful recipient of God’s grace in Celestial Church of Christ. Despite coming from a Muslim background and previously attending Christ Gospel Apostolic Church, he converted to Celestial Church many years ago. The significance of this church has consistently strengthened his faith and assured him that he is on the right path with God.
Prophet Ogundipe does not publicly declare himself as a pastor in the church. It is worth noting that he transferred his parish from the Nigeria Diocese faction to the mainstream of the church. In the Nigeria Diocese, he was anointed as a Most Superior Evangelist approximately 15 years ago. However, due to the treatment he received from unbalanced forces within Celestial authority, he made the difficult decision to distance himself completely. This announcement was made during their Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service on December 17, 2023. It was a necessary step to protect his ministry from further negative perspectives.
MY DISSENSION WITH THE KETU FACTION
Prophet Oladele Ogundipe, in an interview with Celestial Prerogative News shed light on the reasons behind the numerous instances of mistreatment he has endured. He expressed his desire for the authority to thoroughly investigate matters before succumbing to public opinion.
Prophet Oladele says “When allegations of prevarication were leveled against me by certain individuals, a flurry of controversial stories flooded social media platforms. Despite this, I chose to refrain from engaging and instead sought divine guidance through prayer. To my surprise, a press statement was released by the Pastor’s Office, informing the congregation of the situation surrounding my character. I was deeply disappointed that the authority did not reach out to me before issuing the statement, which I perceived as an assault on my reputation by a group I had faithfully served.”
Subsequently, I expressed my concerns to a close associate to the Pastor, who assured me that the letter would be clarified. Eventually, I received a call for a meeting. Attending the meeting were the elders of my parish, along with V/S/E Jerry and other church authority. I was questioned about the entire situation and I patiently explained my position, using my divine calling as a covenant to justify my actions.
Another meeting was convened, which included the presence of the late V/S/E Toriola, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala, and others. However, the second meeting did not have the attendance of those who were present at the first meeting, which was moderated by V/S/E Jerry. During this second meeting, I was on my knees throughout the conversation, earnestly explaining the situation with Baba Odunmbaku seated in the Pastor’s chair. I emphasized that it would be inappropriate for me to order Baba Odunmbaku to stand up from his seat, as he was a senior clergyman who understood the fundamental principles of the Church. Unfortunately, I faced a barrage of insults during the meeting, and I chose to remain silent throughout the conversation.
To my surprise, on August 17th, 2020, I received notification that I had been expelled from the Church following a meeting held in Imeko, Ogun State. Despite my efforts to personally engage with the Pastor, my requests were rejected.
In light of these circumstances, I have made the decision to stand on my own. I will not withdraw from the structure created by Rev SBJ Oshoffa which Ketu International belong to. It is an undeniable fact that I have endured suffering at the hands of individuals who have taken advantage of the situation to launch attacks against me.
However, God has clearly shown me His power and authority and I am grateful for the unwavering support of my mother, wife and fellow worshippers of Celestial Church of Christ Genesis Global. It is important to note that I was never led by the Holy Spirit to leave Ketu, but I simply cannot endure the heat, bullying and intimidation that have led to my decision to isolate myself.
