In light of recent rumors circulating on the 25th of December 2023, regarding the departure of one of our Church’s faction leaders, Rev Adeogun. Initially, our blog published a report that Rev Adeogun had left the world, but this information was later revised after receiving a comprehensive explanation from Benin Headquarters on the situation of events.
The news sparked controversy, particularly concerning Rev Adeogun health status, as he was absent during their 2023 Convention in the Republic of Benin. However, we have obtained a voice note sent to us (Celestial Prerogative News) that sheds light on the situation and when Rev Adeogun expresses immense gratitude towards Rev EMF Oshoffa, who leads another faction of the Church.
In this voice note, Rev Adeogun acknowledges Rev Oshoffa’s genuine concern by recounting how he personally visited him three times while he was on a sick bed. This gesture of care and support demonstrates the strong bond which our leaders need, even amidst differing factions.
The voice note begins with a heartfelt greeting to Rev Emmanuel Oshoffa, expressing gratitude for his concern upon hearing about Rev Adeogun’s situation. Despite not being able to meet in person due to unavailability, Rev Oshoffa made multiple trips to check on Rev Adeogun, demonstrating his genuine care and support.
Rev Adeogun also took the opportunity to offer a prayer for Rev EMF Oshoffa & other leaders of the Church, acknowledging the possibility that the long-awaited peaceful reconciliation which the Church had been yearning for, may have finally arrived.
