Celestial Church of Christ, House of Grace Parish, Grays, Essex, United Kingdom under the leadership of VSE Akinseye Iyun, Shepherd-in-Charge is set to celebrate its 13th Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service, tagged “Harvest of Grace.” The thanksgiving service is scheduled for Sunday, 30th August 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Blackshots Leisure Centre, Grays, RM16 2JU, Essex.
The celebration is expected to be a significant occasion of worship, thanksgiving and reflection as members of the parish come together to appreciate God for His faithfulness, protection, provision and sustaining grace.
Speaking on the significance of the celebration, VSE Akinseye Iyun emphasised the importance of recognising God’s grace as the foundation of the parish’s journey and achievements.
“God’s grace has brought us this far. As we celebrate this year’s harvest, we have every reason to return all glory and thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness. The Harvest of Grace is a reminder that whatever we have achieved as individuals and as a church has been made possible by His grace.” He further encouraged members, families and friends of the parish to approach the celebration with hearts of gratitude and genuine appreciation to God.
“This is not just another annual programme; it is an opportunity for us to count our blessings, appreciate God’s goodness and look forward to greater things ahead. I encourage everyone to participate fully in the activities and make the most of this season of thanksgiving.”

The parish has put together a series of programmes leading up to the grand thanksgiving service.
The activities commence on Monday, 24th August 2026, with Youth Day, followed by a Seminar on Tuesday, 25th August 2026
The programme continues with a Revival on Wednesday, 26th August, Women’s Day on Thursday, 27th August, and Pentecost Night on Friday, 28th August.
The week-long spiritual activities will climax with the 13th Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, 30th August 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The theme “Harvest of Grace” speaks directly to the central message of the celebration: that God’s grace remains sufficient and has sustained His people through every season. For CCC House of Grace Parish, the 13th Adult Harvest is an opportunity to look back with gratitude while looking ahead with renewed faith and expectation.
The celebration will bring together members of the parish, Celestians, families, friends and well-wishers for a day of thanksgiving, worship, fellowship and celebration.
