OPEN LETTER TO THE PASTOR, HIS EMINENCE, REV. E. M. F. OSHOFFA CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST, WORLD-WIDE
Our Dear Rev. Pastor,
Re: DISCLAIMER,: EVANGELIST PAUL MAYAKI a.k.a SAINT PAUL: A CASE OF CRUCIFIXION BEFORE TRIAL.
We, the CONCERNED ELDERS OF CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST, EDO STATE send you Calvary greetings in the most precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
In as much as we do not have the right to question on who you hire or fire, we believe that your Eminence must not be misguided by some self-serving officials who brazenly throws caution to the wind to destroy hard-working, committed and dedicated workers in your administration.
We refer particularly to publications in the social media indicating Evangelist PAUL MAYAKI a.k.a. Saint Paul who was accused of anointing 102 fake VENERABLE EVANGELISTS in Edo State during the 2022/23 Anointment exercise which culminated in the press release of your media officer, Evangelist Ajala Kayode dated December 14, 2023 with his photograph disclaiming him.
Your Eminence Sir, we are particularly irked by the fact that no one in Edo State saw any member of the investigating team set up by you that found him guilty nor was he given a query nor opportunity to defend himself on such criminal allegations before his dismissal. It is very regrettable that the whole Venerables and indeed the good people of Edo State are by your action portrayed as fraudulent people having a total having a total of 102 fake Venerable Evangelists! This is very damaging to the high calling to the office of our shepherds. This is very damaging to the reputation of Evangelist Paul Makayi a.k.a Saint Paul world over.
We therefore demand to see the report upon which Evangelist Paul Mayaki a.k.a. Saint Paul in particular and the Venerables in Edo State were crucified without trial which has caused us mental, emotional and spiritual damages unquantifiable.
We are therefore calling on you to use your good office to ensure that this ma er is thoroughly investigated and the culprits brought to book if the allegations are found to be false. We also demand that in the above event, the Church should tender unreserved apology, given the same publicity in the social media and two National newspapers with damages paid to Evangelist PAUL MAYAKI a.k.a Saint Paul for character assassina on and be restored to continue his good field work in the Celes al Church of Christ.
We also demand apology for the Venerables in Edo State and the good people of the State who have made great sacrifice to promote the Celestial Church of Christ to the South East and South South for more than half a century.
We also counsel that such heinous crimes must be thoroughly investigated before any ac on is taken or else, it will demoralize hardworking Shepherds and laity.
