The CCC USA National Diocese is proud to announce the commencement Celestial Music Convention 2024, where music scholars dedicated to Evangelism in music will gather to discuss the importance of music within Celestial Church of Christ. The convention which is organize under leadership of VSE Olaitan Balogun, Head of USA National Diocese. The convention has been approved and scheduled to take place from May 24th to May 26th, 2024, with the theme “Celestial Church of Christ Mandates”.
The convention will feature Choir lectures, symposiums, games, and a concert, all aimed at exploring the role of music within our church. The National Choir Director, Superior Senior Evangelist Olushola Omole has expressed confidence in the readiness of the organization to host an event that will reshape the future of Celestial music. Through in-depth analysis of the challenges facing our church music, proactive measures will be implemented following the convention.
The host shepherds, AVSE Benjamin Oshoffa, AVSE Peter Ilori and AVSE Olabode Salako also emphasized the significance of the music convention as a means to revitalize and modernize Church music within Celestial Church of Christ. They urged all Celestial members in the USA to actively participate in discussions during the convention by attending in person in the city of Chicago, while the convention will also he stream on the Diocese page Facebook & Instagram.
The convention is scheduled to commence on the 24th of May 2024, featuring a variety of activities throughout the day, including presentations by AVSE Moses Shobowale and VSE Moses Akande, while the Music Director of CCC Worldwide Sup/Evang Olaosebikan will present a paper on the 25th of May 2024. This event promises to be a valuable opportunity for members to engage in dialogue and exchange ideas on the future of Church music.
