Celestial Church of Christ Sanctum Parish, Bloomington, California, United States of America is set to celebrate its 27th Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving with a special programme tagged “Harvest of Dunamis 2026,” bringing together worshippers, church leaders, families and friends for a memorable season of thanksgiving, spiritual renewal and celebration of God’s faithfulness.
The three-day programme is scheduled to hold from Friday, 30th October to Sunday, 1st November 2026, at the church premises, located at 11750 Cedar Avenue, Bloomington, California 92316, with the grand celebration scheduled for 11:00 a.m. The annual harvest is an opportunity for members and well-wishers to express gratitude to God for His blessings while renewing their commitment to Christian service, evangelism and Christian development.
The theme, “Harvest of Dunamis 2026,” is accompanied by the inspiring message: “A People of Harvest, A Generation of Dunamis, For a Greater Tomorrow.” The programme also carries the message, “Giving Thanks, Bearing Fruit, Impacting Lives,” highlighting the importance of gratitude, spiritual fruitfulness and making meaningful contributions to the lives of others.
The harvest celebration is anchored on Acts 1:8 and CCC Hymn 236, directing attention to the power of the Holy Spirit and the responsibility of believers to bear witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the celebration, the parish seeks to encourage worshippers to deepen their faith, embrace a lifestyle of thanksgiving and contribute positively to the growth of the church and the wider community.
In his invitation to worshippers and the general public, the Shepherd-in-Charge, Yomi Dodo-Williams, warmly invited members, friends and well-wishers to participate in the celebration. He expressed his desire for guests to experience the power of God at the Harvest of Dunamis 2026, praying that the Lord would bless them with peace, fruitfulness, favour and overflowing joy.
The programme is supported by the commitment of the parish’s harvest committee and church leadership. Among the personalities listed on the flyer are MC Funke Nwagbala, President; Sister Ibukun Akinsola, Harvest Secretary; AVSE Yves Goncalves, Assistant Shepherd; and VSE Joseph Awosika, Region C Supervisor. The celebration also pays tribute to the spiritual heritage of the Celestial Church of Christ, with the image of the late Reverend Samuel Bilehou Joseph Oshoffa, the church’s founder, featured prominently on the flyer. This serves as a reminder of the church’s heritage, its enduring faith tradition and the responsibility of present and future generations to preserve its spiritual values.
As preparations gather momentum, the 27th Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving is expected to provide an opportunity for worship, praise, thanksgiving and fellowship among members and visitors. Beyond the festivities, the message of the harvest calls on believers to demonstrate their gratitude to God through faithful service, generosity, spiritual growth and positive impact on society.
The parish’s invitation is open to all who wish to join in the celebration and give thanks to God. With the message “Same Faith, Same Heritage, A More Fruitful Tomorrow,” CCC Sanctum Parish, Bloomington, looks forward to welcoming worshippers and guests to the Harvest of Dunamis 2026.
