Celestial Church of Christ, Oluwa Olubukun Cathedral, Special District, Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos State, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, held its 13th Annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service, alongside the official launching of its much-anticipated Cathedral Project.
The colourful spiritual gathering took place at the church premises located at Road 18, Plots 22 and 23, Peace Estate, Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos State. The celebration attracted worshippers and distinguished personalities who gathered to express gratitude to God for His faithfulness and to support the ongoing development of the church.
The theme of this year’s Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service was “Harvest of Glorious Manifestation,” drawn from 2 Chronicles 7:1–3. The biblical passage recounts the manifestation of God’s glory following Solomon’s prayer, when fire came down from heaven and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. The theme therefore underscored the congregation’s expectation of divine manifestation, spiritual renewal and God’s continued presence in His church.
Prominent among those who set the tone for the celebration were VSE Tosho Oshoffa, Shepherd of CCC International Headquarters, Ketu, Lagos State, VSE Shonekan, VSE Dada and other distinguished personalities whose presence added colour and significance to the occasion. Their participation formed part of the gathering’s atmosphere of thanksgiving, fellowship and commitment to the continued growth of the church.
Beyond the annual thanksgiving, the official launching of the Cathedral Project marked another important milestone in the development aspirations of CCC Oluwa Olubukun Cathedral. The initiative represents an opportunity for members, worshippers and well-wishers to contribute towards the realisation of the church’s vision for its cathedral project and the advancement of its worship facilities.
