Celestial Church of Christ, Jordan Parish, Ikosi Ketu, Lagos State is set to celebrate its 30th Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving Service, with a week-long programme designed to bring members, families, friends and well-wishers together in an atmosphere of worship, thanksgiving, praise and spiritual renewal.
The 30th Adult Harvest, themed “Overflowing of Blessings”, is anchored on Psalm 23:5, which declares: “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” The theme reflects the parish’s expression of gratitude for God’s faithfulness and its expectation of greater blessings, favour and divine intervention.
According to the programme released by the parish, activities will commence on Tuesday, 6th October 2026, and run through Sunday, 11th October 2026. The first three days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will feature daily revival programmes beginning at 5:00 p.m., providing an opportunity for worshippers to seek God’s presence, renew their faith and prepare spiritually for the harvest celebration.
The revival sessions are expected to provide a period of intense prayers, spiritual reflection, exhortation and thanksgiving as members look beyond material blessings and acknowledge the source of every good and perfect gift. The harvest celebration therefore serves not only as a social or ceremonial occasion but also as a spiritual milestone in the life of the parish.
On Friday, 9th October 2026, attention will shift to a special Praise Night Concert, scheduled to commence at 10:00 p.m. The programme is expected to create an atmosphere of joyful praise and thanksgiving, bringing worshippers together through music, songs and expressions of gratitude to God.
The grand finale of the celebration will take place on Sunday, 11th October 2026, with the Harvest Thanksgiving Service scheduled for 10:00 a.m. The service will bring the week-long programme to a climax as members gather to offer thanksgiving to God for His preservation, provision, guidance and blessings throughout the years.
The celebration will be held at the CCC Jordan Parish Church Auditorium, 10/12 Olori Oguntade Drive, off Akp… Street, Ketu-Ikosi, Lagos State, with the Sunday harvest service scheduled for 10:00 a.m. prompt.
