Members of “REGION B” of the USA Diocese are preparing for a spiritually uplifting three-day programme of praise, teaching, and thanksgiving scheduled to take place from Friday, March 20th to Sunday, March 22nd , 2026 in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
The special gathering, organised under the supervision of VSE Tunji Badmus, will bring together members, shepherds, church workers, and invited guests in a moment of deep gratitude and spiritual reflection. The programme is themed “VIGILANCE”, drawn from 1 Peter 5:8, encouraging believers to remain spiritually alert and steadfast in faith amid the challenges of the modern world.
The event will also welcome the presence of the USA Diocese HOD, VSE Joseph Olorunnisola, whose participation is expected to add spiritual depth and unity to the occasion. All activities will take place at CCC Canaan Cathedral, Chicago , IL, USA one of the major worship centres of the Church in the United States of America.

FRIDAY, MARCH 20, 2026 – PRAISE NIGHT
The programme will begin with an atmosphere of joyful worship and musical celebration during a Praise Night featuring the Central Choir of the USA Diocese, the Region B Choir, and invited gospel music ministers. The night is expected to be filled with praise, thanksgiving, and powerful worship.

Saturday, March 21, 2026 – SHEPHERDS & WORKERS’ RETREAT
The second day will focus on spiritual and administrative development through a retreat for Shepherds and Church Workers. The retreat will centre on deeper understanding of the Holy Scriptures, the doctrine of our Church, and the basic ordinances guiding the Church’s spiritual administration.

Sunday, March 22, 2026 – SPECIAL THANKSGIVING SERVICE
The three-day programme will culminate in a grand Thanksgiving Service, where members will gather in solemn worship to appreciate God for His faithfulness, protection, and blessings upon the Diocese and its members.

The Region B executives have encouraged members across the region and beyond to participate in the programme, describing it as a moment of spiritual renewal, unity, and appreciation to God for His continued grace upon the Church.
The gathering is expected to strengthen fellowship among members while reminding believers of the biblical call to vigilance: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8
