It was a solemn yet glorious home-call as the remains of Late Most Superior Evangelist Amadasu were committed to mother earth today, 20th February 2026.
One of the most dedicated and committed Shepherds within the fold of our Church, M/S/E Amadasu laboured tirelessly for the growth, stability, and sustainability of the Church across the South East and Eastern regions of Nigeria. His passing marks the end of a remarkable chapter of faithful service and spiritual leadership.
As a former Pastoral Adviser, he was widely respected for his wisdom, administrative strength, and unwavering commitment to divine order. He was not only a transformative leader but also a bridge builder a lover of peace who believed strongly in unity, reconciliation, and obedience to God’s instructions.
Throughout his lifetime, M/S/E Amadasu stood firmly on what he believed to be God’s direction for the Church. In times of uncertainty and internal challenges, he remained steadfast, calm, and spiritually guided. Many testified that his counsel brought clarity, his prayers brought comfort, and his leadership inspired confidence.
Clergy members, faithful congregants, family, and well-wishers gathered to pay their last respects, celebrating a life wholly dedicated to the vineyard of the Lord. Though his physical presence will be deeply missed, his legacy of discipline, faith, and service will continue to echo within the Church. Indeed, he fought a good fight, he finished his course, and he kept the faith.May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
