One of the
greatest acts of love towards humanity is helping those less fortunate in our
society and standing by individuals facing unimaginable challenges. When we
choose to support and uplift each other, our church and community thrive with
unity and mutual respect.
A post on the
official Facebook page of VSE Tosho Oshoffa showcases a heart overflowing with
love and a willingness to provide financial assistance to a Celestial Church of
Christ. The members of this said Parish have been worshipping in the rain due
to their parish’s inability to afford a proper roof for their congregation.
The Shepherd of CCC International Headquarters in Ketu, Lagos State, who
is currently in Italy made a post on his Facebook page requesting details of the
Parish. He reached out to the general public, seeking to connect with the
Parish in order to offer assistance in creating a conducive environment for
worship.
The display of
love and generosity in the post is truly commendable. We are grateful for VSE
Tosho Oshoffa’s efforts to rally support for a Parish where members gather with
the sole purpose of worship. We also join in the request for the details of the
Parish.
It is heart-warming
to see individuals like VSE Tosho Oshoffa taking initiative to support and
uplift Parishes in need. It’s a challenge to the Church authority to support
parishes confronting modern infrastructure due to the economic hardship in
Nigeria, rather than focusing on monthly returns from them without putting into
consideration the financial backwardness of such parishes.
