As anticipation continues to build for the forthcoming 2026 Biennial Convention of the USA Diocese, the Chairman of the Convention Planning Committee, AVSE Victor Adewusi has assured members and invited guests that adequate arrangements are being put in place to ensure a smooth, spiritually uplifting, and well-organized event.
The highly anticipated convention, themed “ASCENSION 2026,” will take place in Rhode Island, United States of America, from April 30th to May 3rd, 2026 at the 5 Star Crown Plaza Hotel, Rhode Island, USA, under the leadership of the Head of CCC USA Diocese, AMSE Joseph Olorunnisola. Speaking during a recent planning briefing, AVSE Adewusi emphasized that the organizing committee is working tirelessly to create a welcoming and Holy Spirit filled environment for all participants traveling from different parts of the United States and around the world.
“By the grace of God, we are committed to creating a very conducive environment for the convention. Every arrangement from paper presentations, lectures, PowerPoint slides and praise-worship sessions, to accommodation logistics, healthcare, and security is being carefully coordinated so that all delegates can focus on the spiritual and developmental purposes of this gathering,” he stated.
According to the Convention Chairman, the event is expected to bring together shepherds, church workers, prophets, prophetesses, elders, and members of the church from various parishes across the United States and around the world, making it one of the most significant spiritual gatherings of the Celestial Church of Christ in the diaspora. He reminded us that the biennial convention started 16 years ago, and this year convention is the 8th one.
He further noted that the convention will feature powerful prayer sessions, prophetic ministrations, revival services, and strategic discussions, relaxation aimed at strengthening evangelism and unity within the church. AVSE Adewusi also urged members of the church to begin spiritual preparations ahead of the convention, emphasizing that the gathering is not merely a biennial event but a defining moment of divine elevation for the faithful.
“This convention is not just a program; it is a spiritual appointment. As we gather under the theme ‘Ascension,’ we believe God will lift His people to higher levels of grace, faith, and service,” he added.
The “Ascension 2026” Biennial Convention is expected to attract hundreds of Celestians and invited guests, reinforcing the mission of the church to evangelize and expand its spiritual and community development activities and influence across the globe.
The convention will be streamed live across many Celestial Church platforms, for the benefit of those who may not be able to attend physically. Members are therefore encouraged to participate actively and prepare to experience a moment of spiritual renewal, unity, and divine encounter in Rhode Island, USA. Indeed, expectations are high as the Celestial fold in the United States prepares for what promises to be a memorable and spiritually impactful convention.
