VSE TOSHO OSHOFFA: THE CELEBRANT WITH STERLING LEADERSHIP QUALITIES.
The establishment of Celestial Church of Christ was not the primary intention of Saint Joseph Oshoffa. It is worthy of note that the founder was a Carpenter and he was determined to be a successful business man. However, the Lord of Hosts had a different plan by making him a prophet with unique attributes and great prowess across the globe.
It a fact that Papa SBJ Oshoffa achieved everything in life as a servant of God as he spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ with the limited resources available to him. He performed signs and wonders within the Celestial fold and across other denominations. While he fulfilled the mandate of sustainability of God works on earth, he preached the salvation of God. Even after 38 years of his demise, heavens still acknowledged him as a true servant of God.
The unction of Saint SBJ Oshoffa felt on Olatosho Matthew Oshoffa. The covenant which God had with Papa immensely manifested in the life of Olatosho Matthew Oshoffa as one of the son of the Pastor Founder. He lost his father as a teenager thus it is obvious that he would have encountered daunting challenges through his journey in life as someone who lost his father at a tender age.
In his quest to fulfill his ambition in life, VSE Tosho Matthew Oshoffa studied in Benin Republic, Togo and Ivory Coast respectively. He was privilege to acquire western education under a serene and conducive environment. The core value of life which assisted him to excel in all facets of his endeavors was his devotion to service to humanity. The exact mentality of creating formidable relationship with siblings, relatives and admirers was injected into his behavioral attitude through the constant monitoring of his late mother.
The impact of his mother was priceless as she shouldered him and his siblings through their individual sojourn from tender age. The contribution of his mother propelled him towards achieving greater strides in life which is evident in the rapid transformation of the International Headquarters of Celestial Church of Christ in Ketu, Lagos State. The spiritual endowments of his Papa is indeed manifesting in his shepherdship careers.
His contribution into the administration system of the Church started in 2002 when he diligently served his brother the current Pastor Rev EMF Oshoffa as his Personal Assistant (PA) for 12 years. He facilitated the unification move towards repositioning and restructuring of the Church. In furtherance to his mandate of propagating the seeds of soul wining, he is currently the Shepherd in Charge of the Celestial Church of Christ, International Headquarters Ketu, Lagos. At different forums he always reiterated the importance of oneness and togetherness of Celestial Church worldwide and Christendom.
The laudable reforms implemented at the International Headquarters of the Church VSE Tosho Matthew Oshoffa speaks volumes of the legacy of the founder of the Church. Gladly, he introduced human empowerment to evangelism, provided financial support for the down-trodden through payment of monthly stipends. VSE Tosho Oshoffa has built an atmosphere of closeness and integration between residents of the community and the Church in Ketu metropolis. This phenomenon is worth emulating and eulogizing!
VSE Tosho Oshoffa devoted his hard earned resources to strengthen education among youths in Celestial Church through the procurement of Hundred (100) units of JAMB forms in a way to give back to the Church. Indeed, his desire to key into this significant sector will further project the image of the Church among the league of Churches in Nigeria. The vision of VSE Tosho Oshoffa on education endorsed the statement of Malcolm X which states “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today”.
Going forward, we join others to celebrate Venerable Superior Evangelist Tosho Oshoffa on his birthday. It is our hope that the celebrants fulfill all earthly potentials in Jesus name.
