V/S/E OBINYAN! DILATE THE FACT.

Every religious organization has a ways of identification in term of service, ranks, doctrines & tent’s for their leaders/members. Celestial Church of Christ has her own ordinance on procedures in the Church, the establishment of services in Celestial is highly spiritual in a way to attach to the evolution of our Church.

The Shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ, El- Gibbor Cathedral, Benin City Edo State in person of V/S/E Femi Eromosele Gabriel Obinyan broke the social media platform on his confinement has a Doctorate Honors in Prophetic Ministry, (Honoris Causa) from Tennessee university USA. It a fact that the shepherd has the full requirements to meet the standard of any respected university due to his wide experience in prophetic teaching & his deep understanding about the scripture; however the presentation of Award on the 24th May 2023 has generated a lot of controversial statement from some Celestian members who felt dissatisfied that a non-celestial member who never wore a GARMENT presented the award to V/S/E Obinyan during the seeker service.

However; in a way to make clarification of the above-mentioned topic; the shepherd (V/S/E Obinyan) debunked the claim been shared on various social media platform that he received the award during the seeker service, V/S/E Obinyan said “ I was confined with a doctorate Honors by Tennessee university USA And Archbishop Eddy Bebor is there rep in South-south; Since he was coming to present the certificate because it has to be an open presentation to me with my Church members present.

After the seekers service I had to give him the chance to minister to the congregation after which the award was presented”. Archbishop Eddy Bebor is a Celestial Church of Christ friend, a man who has associated with Celestial Church of Christ internationally, he is a man who believes in the doctrine and faith tradition of the Church well so giving he a platform in the Parish should not be a big deal at all.

The shepherd further explained that It become imperative that he need to make the clear fact of statement for future reference & to also educate some members of the Church who claimed to know the catholic much than the Pope. While the Church Constitution also allow member to seek scripture knowledge beyond the jurisdiction of the Church wall; Section 104 of Celestial Constitution stated that “Members shall use within and WITHOUT the Church only those appellation and/or prefixes relating to their rank within the Church, in addition, member may use OUTSIDE the Church those appellation and/or prefixes that relate to their professional tittle (E.g Engr, Arch, Dr, Brig. Flight Officer, Navy Commander or B.A M.Sc etc) or their gender ( E.g Mr, Mrs, Miss, Esq).

The Church Constitution recognize individual achievement in their respective field outside the cover of the Church jurisdiction. The Church knew that members of the Church might be honored for their contribution(s) to humanity, likewise their academic achievement Church.

VSE Obinyan further promise to abide with the doctrinal practice of the Church, has he always reecho to member under his watch; while he tried to call for proper assessment of fact before dishing out information about shepherd/members in the Church.
