The United States Diocese of our Church is set to host one of its most anticipated spiritual gatherings as members prepare for the “ASCENSION 2026” Biennial National Convention, a four-day assembly designed to inspire renewal, unity, and divine encounter among Celestians across the globe.
Scheduled to take place April 30th to May 3rd, 2026, the convention will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Warwick, bringing together clergy, workers, youth leaders, and faithful members from different parts of the United States and beyond.
The Biennial Convention is expected to serve as a major spiritual and administrative congress for the church in the United States. According to the leadership of the USA Diocese, the event will focus on deep spiritual reflection, biblical teachings, and strategic discussions aimed at strengthening the church’s mission and future direction.
Participants will experience: Powerful revival sessions and inspirational sermons, Scriptural lectures and theological presentations, Leadership workshops and panel discussions, Youth engagement programs and interactive sessions, Musical ministrations by choirs and gospel ensembles
The convention is also designed to provide a platform for reviewing the progress of the Diocese, discussing church policies, and strengthening unity among parishes in the United States.
The gathering will be presided over by VSE Joseph Olorunnisola, Head of the USA Diocese. He is expected to deliver a keynote address that will highlight the spiritual journey, present challenges, and future vision of the Church in the diaspora.
Other seasoned evangelists, scholars, and church leaders will also lead sessions focused on faith, leadership, and spiritual transformation. Workshops, Revival, and Strategic Dialogue.
The convention will begin with a Shepherds, Evangelists, and Church Workers Workshop, setting the tone for the four-day program. Participants will also engage in town-hall discussions, symposiums, and presentations addressing key issues affecting the church and the wider Christian community. In addition to spiritual activities, the event will feature a special gala night, musical performances, and recognition awards celebrating individuals who have significantly contributed to the growth of the church in the United States.
The theme “ASCENSION 2026” symbolizes a call for believers to rise spiritually, renew their commitment to Christ, and work collectively toward strengthening the church as a beacon of salvation. Church leaders have described the convention as a moment of collective rededication to righteousness, holiness, and unity in Christ.
