The forthcoming 2026 Biennial Convention of Celestial Church of Christ USA Diocese is set to place a renewed and powerful emphasis on evangelism and the teaching of the Holy Scriptures, as the leadership of the Diocese calls members to return to the foundational mandate of the Church.
The Head of the USA Diocese, AMSE Joseph Olorunnisola, made this known while speaking on the vision and spiritual focus of the convention, stressing that the mission of the Church remains incomplete if the gospel is not consistently taken to the world. According to him, the convention will serve as a moment of spiritual awakening, reminding members of their responsibility to actively spread the message of salvation and deepen their knowledge of the Word of God.
He emphasized that the Church, as a prophetic and evangelical church, must continually strengthen its commitment to soul winning and biblical teaching. “The Church must evangelize. That is our divine mandate. The gospel of Christ must reach every soul, and the teaching of the Scriptures must remain the foundation upon which our faith and practices stand,” he declared.
AMSE Joseph Olorunnisola further emphasised that “our gathering in Rhode Island will not just be a convention; it will be a moment of spiritual revival where members will be empowered through the Word and prayer. The mission of the Celestial Church of Christ remains clear to preach the gospel, teach the Scriptures, and raise believers who will stand as light in the world.”
The highly anticipated Biennial Convention will hold at 5-Star Crown Plaza hote, Rhode Island, New England, USA, from 30th April to 3rd May 2026, and is expected to gather ministers, workers, and members of the Church from across the United St JD 9000’ates and beyond.
