The Birmingham Summit/AGM 2025, organised under the leadership of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland Diocese, was met with admiration and enthusiasm. Clergies from near and far came together with a deep sense of commitment, unity, and sincerity by attending the day summit and the Annual General Meeting 2025.
As a Diocese guided by God, the summit was a testament to our dedication to upholding the teachings and principles of the Church. The event was well-attended, with Shepherds and Church Workers expressing their joy at being part of such a wonderful gathering of God’s people. The day began with an opening prayer, followed by a welcome address by the leader of the Diocese – VSE Pro Bola Olaleye. The welcome address was filled with spiritual inspiration and stating the fact that the UK/NI Diocese is on a mission to spread messages of love, respect, and harmony. A special appreciation was given to the Pastor His Eminence Rev EMF Oshoffa, who continues to be guided by God and provides leadership and knowledge to the Diocese and the Church at large. The atmosphere at the summit was uplifting, with a sense of excitement and anticipation for the future of the UK & NI Diocese.
In an exciting turn of events, VSE Akiniranye delivered inspiring words of exaltation on Church Leadership and Management. Immediately after, Prophet Jegede (Diocese’s Secretary General) provided a comprehensive overview of the Diocese’s journey so far, emphasising the importance the Diocese to Rebuilding, Restructuring, and Restoring the Church to its primary objective in United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. AVSE Atere then presented the financial reports of the Diocese, highlighting the commitment of members to transparency, accountability, and sincerity.
The gathering was thrilled to unveil the 2025 Calendar of events and unanimously approved the Diocese’s code of conduct as a guideline to monitor, protect, and set standards for members across the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. So also is the upcoming 2025 convention slated for 14th to 16th March 2025. The Executive Management Committee successfully completed their tenure, leading to the appointment of a new Executive Management Committee officers via secret ballot voting system to further advance the Diocese’s mission. VSE Pro Bola Olaleye was anonymously appointed and returned upopposed as the leader of the Diocese. VSE Richard Moronfolu was voted in as the deputy leader as well as Sup Femi Odunaike as the Assistant Secretary after Prophet Samson Jegede was returned unopposed as the secretary general of the Diocese. Other executive positions within the Executive Management Committee were appointed in an equal manner. These include the offices of the public relations officer 1 & 2, welfare officer 1& 2, treasurer, financial secretary, and finally the officer for policy and strategy.
Members shared their positive perspectives on the growth witnessed in the Diocese, culminating in a vote of thanks by VSE Bayo King. While Prophetess Anjorin led the closing prayer, and VSE Olaleye shared the benediction, wrapping up the program on a high note – Halleluyah!.
