It is evident to all members of our Church that there is a lack of truth and righteousness in the administration of Celestial Church of Christ. The leadership has failed to maintain a proper balance for a church that has been in existence for 77 years. Personal interests have taken precedence over the instructions of God, and those who should be following God’s guidance are more concerned with material possessions.
Furthermore, there has been a clear example of degradation through the unjust promotion of Superior Evangelist Ebenezer to the rank of Venerable Superior Evangelist without following the proper procedures established by the Church’s founder, Rev. SBJ Oshoffa. Rev. Oshoffa always adhered to God’s will in every decision he made from 1947 to 1985, as did his immediate successor.
It is a well-known fact that pouring anointing oil on someone’s head is a symbolic act of consecration with biblical roots, symbolizing authority. Unfortunately, the true meaning of this practice has been distorted within the Church. We have seen a perversion of spiritual ranks through the influence of money and the exchange of jewellery, reducing the sacred process to a mere transaction.
We can anticipate the online spokesman of the Most Superior Evangelist Fastuin to post the shameful act on the official church blog. The sacred act of anointing has lost its true essence due to the irresponsible actions of those in positions of authority who have prioritized personal gain over the spiritual well-being of the Church.
They have exploited a broken system to serve their own interests, disregarding the divine mandates entrusted to them by God.
It is imperative that we address these issues and return to the principles and values set forth by our Church’s founders. We must strive for leadership that is guided by God’s instructions and not swayed by personal interests. Only then can we truly fulfil the mission and purpose of Celestial Church of Christ.
