Acts of kindness and generosity continue to keep the memory of late Brother Emmanuel Adebayo, fondly remembered as Mutajero, alive in the hearts of many. Though he departed this world in January 2025, his legacy of service, compassion, and dedication to humanity continues to inspire impactful initiatives through the Maryabik Foundation, a charity established in his honour.
Brother Emmanuel Adebayo was widely known as a philanthropist, a devoted banker, and a man who served God wholeheartedly during his lifetime. His passion for helping the less privileged and uplifting those around him left a remarkable imprint on everyone who encountered him. Beyond his professional life, he was a committed member of Luli Concert, where he contributed his time and energy in service to God and the Church. To preserve his memory and continue the humanitarian work he believed in, the Maryabik Foundation was established as a platform to extend kindness to communities and support those in need, especially young people.
In a recent outreach programme, the foundation visited Olommeji Community High School in Emuren-Remo, Ogun State, where students were presented with school bags, exercise books, and school sneakers. The donation was warmly received by the students, teachers, and members of the community, who expressed deep appreciation for the thoughtful gesture. The initiative was aimed at supporting students academically and easing the burden on families who struggle to provide essential school materials for their children. For many of the beneficiaries, the items received will go a long way in encouraging them to remain focused on their education and pursue their dreams with confidence.
One of of Maryabik Foundation Brother Daniel Adebayo explained that the outreach reflects the values Brother Emmanuel Adebayo lived for compassion, generosity, and a sincere desire to see others succeed. According to them, the foundation intends to continue carrying out similar humanitarian activities in schools and communities, ensuring that his memory remains a blessing to many.
Members of the school management commended the Maryabik Foundation for the noble initiative, describing it as a meaningful investment in the future of the young generation. They noted that such acts of kindness not only provide material support but also inspire hope and motivation among students. Indeed, while Brother Emmanuel Adebayo may no longer be physically present, his spirit of giving continues to touch lives. Through the Maryabik Foundation, his legacy lives on reminding society that the true measure of a life well lived is the positive impact left on others.
As the foundation continues its mission, the story of Brother Mutajero stands as a powerful testimony that even after one’s departure, kindness and generosity can continue to shine as a guiding light for generations to come.
