The Shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ Hephzibah Cathedral Indianapolis, Prophet Kayode Nunayon, has described the parish’s annual Prophet & Prophetess Week as a spiritual programme born out of divine instruction and guided by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Prophet Nunayon made this known during the recently concluded Prophet & Prophetess Week celebration of the parish, which also coincided with activities marking the annual anniversary of the church’s existence.
According to the Shepherd, the programme was established to spiritually strengthen the prophetic ministry within the church and to continually remind members of the importance of divine guidance in their daily lives and service to God.
Speaking during the event, Prophet Nunayon explained that the prophetic office remains a vital pillar within Celestial Church of Christ, stressing that prophets and prophetesses serve as vessels through whom God reveals His will, direction, and warnings to His people.
He noted that the annual week-long programme is not merely ceremonial but a sacred period dedicated to prayers, spiritual revival, prophetic ministration, and deeper consecration for those called into the prophetic ministry.
“This programme is not something we initiated out of human desire. It is a divine instruction, and every year we witness the hand of God moving mightily through prophetic revelations, healings, deliverances, and spiritual restoration,” Prophet Nunayon stated.
He further emphasized that the growth and stability of the parish over the past years can be attributed to consistent obedience to divine direction, unity among members, and unwavering commitment to the doctrines of the church.
The Shepherd encouraged prophets and prophetesses within the church to remain disciplined, prayerful, and spiritually sensitive, reminding them that the prophetic calling demands humility, purity, and total dedication to God’s service. Members of the cathedral expressed gratitude to God for the successful programme, describing it as a spiritually uplifting period filled with testimonies and renewed faith.
As the parish celebrates 17 years of God’s faithfulness, leaders and members alike reaffirmed their commitment to continue upholding the prophetic heritage and spiritual traditions of Celestial Church of Christ while working towards greater growth and impact within the community.
The celebration concluded with special prayers of thanksgiving, prophetic blessings, and renewed dedication by prophets and prophetesses to faithfully carry out their divine assignments in the vineyard of the Lord.
