Every new year carries deep spiritual significance, revealing the power of God and reaffirming the eternal values the Church represents. In keeping with this sacred tradition, Celestial Church of Christ Firstborn Prophetic Cathedral, (Zonal Headquarters) Benin City is set to host a solemn and prophetic Crossover Service on Tuesday, 31st December 2025. The highly anticipated service will take place at the parish, located at Celestial Bus-Stop, Ohoghobi Community, Sapele Road, Benin City, Edo State. The gathering is expected to draw worshippers from within and beyond the city for a night of thanksgiving, prayer, praise, and prophetic declarations.
Leading the service is the Shepherd of the Cathedral, Venerable Superior Evangelist Audu Marvis, a servant of God entrusted with a divine mandate to proclaim God’s counsel without limitation and in full compliance with Celestial Church of Christ doctrines and practices. The crossover night will feature inspired prophecies and declarations ushering the Church and attendees into the new year. Emphasizing the spiritual weight of the occasion, VSE Audu Marvis assured members that the service will mark a complete transformation, declaring total victory and divine breakthroughs as the Church steps into the year 2026.
Speaking on the significance of the crossover service, VSE Audu Marvis declared: “The crossover service is not just a transition of time; it is a divine alignment of destiny. It is the night God seals victories, closes unproductive chapters, and opens new doors of glory for His people.”
He further emphasized that the service will usher worshippers into a renewed spiritual dimension, in line with the Word of God which says, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” (Isaiah 43:18–19).
Releasing a prophetic declaration for the year ahead, VSE Audu Marvis proclaimed: “As we cross into 2026, it shall be a year of complete transformation, divine victory, and visible testimonies. Every delayed promise shall manifest, every spiritual battle shall end in triumph, and the glory of God shall rest upon His people.”
Anchoring this declaration on Scripture, he cited, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee; and the light shall shine upon thy ways” (Job 22:28), and “The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day” (Proverbs 4:18)
The 2025/2026 Crossover Service promises to be a night of joy, hope, and renewed faith, as the people of God gather to close the year in gratitude and open the new year under prophetic guidance and heavenly assurance.
