PASTOR’S FAREWELL FROM ITALY
Thirteen years after his initial visit, Reverend Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa arrived at Rome International Airport to spread God’s salvation to believers and non-believers. The Pastor’s visit reaffirmed the purpose of the Celestial Church of Christ on Earth.
Under the supervision of Venerable Superior Evangelist Michael Tunde Odubanjo MPIC (Head of Diocese), every Celestial member in Italy warmly welcomed the Pastor to the country. The preparedness of the Italy Diocese clearly demonstrated the deep purpose of the Church in the Western world. Throughout his five-day stay in Italy, the Pastor exemplified the significance of God’s servants.
The Pastor visited parishes in both the Northern and Southern districts of the country, conducting revivals in each district whenever the Pastor set foot in their parish, celestial members in those parishes felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. The HOD of Italy, VSE Odubanjo, expressed his gratitude to the Pastor for his unwavering commitment to the Church and his fatherly role to all Celestial members in Italy. He emphasized the importance of the Church in Italy and its mission to reach every citizen in the country.
The Pastor also authorized the continuation of the Italy Executive Governing Council under the supervision of Venerable Superior Evangelist Odubanjo. Additionally, the Pastor exercised his pastoral authority, as stated in section 108 of the Church Constitution, to officially anoint approved members in the Diocese.
The Pastor’s visit will be remembered as a historic event in the hearts of the Pastor and all members of the Diocese. The Pastor promised to visit them again in the coming months.
