As we kick off the year 2025, there is a positive energy buzzing around the Church corridors. It’s a sign that the Church is returning to its roots of genuine care and compassion. Majority of members are calling for a Church filled with love, respect, and unity and their voices has begun to gain momentum. Thanks to the tireless efforts of a few individuals, whom God is using to bring about a new era of openness.
Celestial Prerogative News monitored the first sermon of the year, delivered by Pastor Rev EMF Oshoffa at CCC National Headquarters in Makoko, Lagos State on 5th January 2025. The message was all about peace – peace with God and peace with humanity. The Pastor emphasized the importance of seeking peace, as the Holy Spirit can only thrive where there is harmony.
In an exciting turn of events, the third hierarchy in the Church, Most Superior Evangelist JD Nunayon, delivered a powerful Sunday sermon at CCC The Rehoboth Family International Cathedral in Oke Ado, Ibadan, Oyo State. He emphasized the importance of peace in the year of 2025. The Prophet shared a revelation about the significance of peace, stating that it is essential for establishing a direct connection with God.
Meanwhile, the Doyen of the Church and member of the registered Board of Trustees, Most Superior Evangelist S.O Banjo delivered a heartfelt speech on peace and harmony at CCC Omo Alade Alafia Parish 1 in Lagos State. During the cross over service on the 31st December 2024, the 92-year-old man urged everyone to prioritize peace and love in the year 2025. He emphasized that where peace reigns, the will of God will surely be fulfilled.
The powerful messages from these three Elders clearly indicate that the Church is moving forward to rebuild and restore its integrity. Let us eagerly anticipate positive gatherings and genuine reconciliation among the Elders as we embark on this journey together.
