In today’s Celestial Church of Christ, a worrisome voice of confusion has gradually found its way into the sacred lineage of those who laboured their body, spirit, and soul for the sustainability of our beloved Church. The children of our founding heroes, Late Rev. SBJ Oshoffa, Late Rev. AA Bada, and Late Ajelekoko have unfortunately taken personal grievances beyond dialogue and counsel, and instead to the loudspeaker of social media.
This is painful. This is dangerous. This is uncalled for. Let it be clear: my concern is not about the ownership of Ketu International Headquarters, neither is it about who laid the bricks of the cathedral. My focus & our focus must remain on this eternal truth: that the worship of God continues unhindered, unbroken, and uncontaminated.
The men who sacrificed everything for this church sought no material gain. Their mission was singular — to propagate the salvation of God to humanity through Celestial Church of Christ. The Pastor Founder, Rev. SBJ Oshoffa, stood as a complete man of God. Yet, he was not alone. His lieutenants such as Baba Bada, Baba Ajelekoko, and others took the mandate, upheld it with conviction, and laid a framework rich in vision, discipline, humility, and doctrine. These were not mere helpers—they were architects of spiritual foundations.
Everyone has the right to express concern about the welfare and memory of their parents. Heritage is priceless. Legacy is sacred. But one question must be asked: If the church collapses while we fight for our family name, what will be left to inherit? The collective failure of stewardship has weakened the pace of our divine mission. Instead of marching forward, we are crawling. Those who profit from the church’s stagnation are working tirelessly to silence the voice of transformation, using police petition as a tool of threats, while encouraging the microphone of noise and sentimentality. It must stop.
A WORD TO THE SONS OF THE MANTLE
To Evangelist John Bada;
History has a way of vindicating those who walk with wisdom. Allow events to take their course. The works of your father Late Rev. AA Bada will never disappear from the pages of history in as much CCC continues to exist. He built an institution beyond imagination, serving the Pastor Founder with loyalty that cannot be denied. You have the task to defend his name, but remember his legacy with wisdom. Time will speak better than social media.
To Evangelist Benjamin Oshoffa;
You carry two identities as son of the Pastor Founder, and a shepherd of the Church. The burden is great. The sleepless nights are understandable. Your teenage life carried scars, but your current standing proves the undeniable favour of God. Use this grace wisely. Enhance peace. Promote reconciliation. Do not allow your pain to be used by those who have personal interests about the division of the Church.
To Evangelist Emmanuel Bada;
You understand the Church, its roots, its systems, its failures, and its spiritual foundation. You saw with your eyes the era of the Pastor Founder. You witnessed the tireless sacrifices of your father. Now, more than ever, the Church needs your voice of clarity. Let this not be a battleground. Let it be a test of faith. Allow God to rule where man has failed.
The Church is bleeding, not from police and court persecution, but from internal tension. If the children of our founding fathers cannot demonstrate unity, how will the shepherds and parishioners learn the way of peace?
Let us quickly remember: “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace…” 1 Corinthians 14:33
The Church does not need loud arguments. It needs wise builders.
It does not need family wars. It needs prophetic leadership. It does not need online confrontations. It needs sacred conversations.
OFF THE MICROPHONE!
Let the sacred name of Celestial Church of Christ rise above personal grievances. Let the children of Oshoffa, Bada, and Ajelekoko rise to the rank of Builders, not Brothers in Battle. Silence the noise. Hold the legacy. Honour the labour. Leave room for God. May God give us wisdom to guard what our fathers built. May the Church return to its divine focus.
Amen.
