The tragic murder of Most Senior Evangelist Gbaju Fadehan of CCC Grace of Comfort Parish, Ile Ife, Osun State which occurred on 26th February 2024 has been addressed by the Osun State Government through the Department of Public Prosecution. The murder of Most Senior Evangelist Gbaju Fadehan was orchestrated by his assistant, Evangelist Lekan Ogundipe who intentionally murdered him with knife injuries before setting him ablaze in the Parish due to a personal misunderstanding.
On Tuesday, 4th February 2025, the suspect was arraigned at the State High Court in Ile Ife, Osun State, on a murder case. The Department of Public Prosecution provided all documents to justify the claim that Evangelist Lekan Ogundipe killed Most Senior Evangelist Gbaju Fadehan which is a complete crime offense under state law. After carefully listening to the pleas of all parties involved, the Judge adjourned the case until 13th March 2025 for the continuation of the trial. Meanwhile, Evangelist Lekan Ogundipe was returned to the correctional center.
