It was yet another remarkable moment of gratitude and spiritual fulfillment as Celestial Church of Christ, Hefsiba City, Alakia, Ibadan offered heartfelt thanksgiving to God during its 31st Harvest Thanksgiving celebration.
The atmosphere of the service was richly charged with sincere praise, deep worship, and overwhelming joy as worshippers gathered to acknowledge God’s enduring grace upon the parish over the years. The harvest celebration was graced by the presence of Most Superior Evangelist J.D. Nunayon, the revered monarch Oba Joseph Toriola Ogunsua, the Oba of Modakeke, alongside several Shepherds of the Church, captains of industries, and distinguished guests.
Delivering the sermon, Most Superior Evangelist D.J. Nunayon described the harvest as a vivid testimony of God’s abundant grace and faithfulness. He emphasized that harvest thanksgiving is not merely a ceremonial observance, but a sacred moment for believers to consciously recognize and appreciate the divine grace each member enjoys within the parish. He charged the congregation to remain steadfast in faith, unity, and gratitude, noting that sustained thanksgiving attracts greater divine blessings.
The Parish Shepherd, Very Superior Evangelist Bukuyi Ojo, could not conceal his joy and deep appreciation to God as he reflected on the success of the harvest. In his remarks, he thanked God for His unwavering support, the commitment of the parishioners, and the collective sacrifices that made the celebration impactful and spiritually uplifting. He also appreciated the clergy, church workers, and guests whose presence added great value to the occasion.
