Most Superior Evangelist Olusegun Olarinde celebrated his 80th birthday in a grand and memorable manner. The event, held at CCC International Headquarters in Ketu on the 25th April 2024 & 4th of May 2024 respectfully, the celebration brought together family, associates, clergies, church workers, and members in a spirit of love, unity, and mutual support.
The colloquium for the birthday which held on the 25th of April 2024 delved into the biblical definition of evangelization and emphasized the importance of prioritizing spiritual duties over material possessions. The celebrant, a longstanding member of Celestial Church of Christ since the early 70s shared insights into his active involvement within the church.
On the 4th of May 2024, a special birthday service took place at the International Headquarters of the Church. The service highlighted the significance of a man who dedicated his life to worship and serving God. As an experienced shepherd who has served in various capacities within the church, the celebrant spoke about the grace bestowed upon him and his understanding of human management within the context of Christianity and individual respect.
The day was filled with a reception of guests at Funplex Resort, located at 39 CMD Road, Magodo Shangisha in Lagos State. Family members, associates and church members came together to express their love for the Celebrant, who recently turned eighty years old. The party was a gathering of individuals who value peace and the venue captivated guests from around the world. Everyone danced to the harmonious lyrics of Special Superior Evangelist Dosumu, also known as Mega 99.
The atmosphere was filled with discussions about the Celebrant, who received teachings from late Baba Cole and was endorsed by Pastor Founder Rev SBJ Oshoffa and his lieutenant,late Rev AA Bada.
The celebration will continue as the organizers have promised to take the 80th birthday festivities of Most Superior Evangelist Olusegun Olarinde to the United Kingdom, Canada, Europe and the United States of America. This is a way to show appreciation for a man who has consistently impacted lives as a servant of God.
