On the 3rd of March 2024, a disruptive incident occurred at Celestial Church of Christ Harton Street Parish, National Headquarters London. Certain individuals strayed from the true purpose of the church, caused embarrassment to the legacy of Papa SBJ Oshoffa who dedicated 38 years of his life to the church’s mission.
One of the factional Diocese leader in the United Kingdom, M/S/E Fatusi took a drastic measures by mobilizing police officers to disrupt the Sunday Glorious Service at CCC Harton Street National Headquarters. This action was taken in an attempt to assert control over the Parish at any cost.
Upon arrival at the parish, M/S/E Fatusi and his team accompanied by 15 shepherds and 4 London Police Officers attempted to impose their will by forcefully removing the substantive shepherd VSE Bayo King . Despite their efforts, the parishioner stood their ground against any imposition, while a female member, Mother Celestial Awosika presented legal documentation from the London Court, which prevented the unauthorized takeover of the parish.
As Pastor Rev EMF Oshoffa worshipped at Agongue to symbolize the importance of adhering to the Church’s rules, one of his lieutenants, M/S/E Fastusi along with Taskforce Chairman V/S/E Akomolafe allowed worldly desires to take precedence over the divine purpose of Celestial Church of Christ. It is on record that CCC National Headquarters in London has declared their strong alliance with their Shepherd V/S/E Bayo King.
The Church has been embroiled in countless crises on a daily basis due to the lackadaisical attitude of certain individuals surrounding the Pastor. These individuals have led the Pastor astray, causing his administration to veer off course and become unstable.
CCC Harton Street National Headquarters in London has publicly distanced themselves from M/S/E Fastusi led faction, even in the presence of the Pastor during his visit in September 2023 for the annual anointment exercise. Instead of addressing the situation to prevent physical confrontation, which occurred on 02/03/2024, the leadership remained silent.
After hours of discussions, the London Police intervened based on principles of justice and equality, instructing M/S/E Fastusi and his team to vacate the premises of the Parish. The Parishioners then regrouped to begin a fresh service around 4pm.
It a fact that the church in London has been embarrassed on a global scale by an individual who prioritizes his own interests. We eagerly await the Pastor’s response and decision on whether to continue tolerating ungodly behavior or to uphold the legacy of Late Rev Prophet SBJ Oshoffa, Late Rev Bada, Late Ajanlekoko, Late Rev PH Ajose, Late V/S/E Akanji, M/S/E Banjo, and M/S/E Nunayon at CCC Harton Street National Headquarters in London.
It is disheartening to witness such a display of power and manipulation within a place of worship. The actions of M/S/E Fastusi and his associates not only disrupted the sacred service but also undermined the values and principles of Celestial Church of Christ.
