The structure of our Church as established by the Pastor Founder, Rev Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa, provides members with the fundamental right to participate actively in societal development, including contesting for elective political positions and contributing meaningfully to the governance of their communities.
In line with this philosophy of service and civic responsibility, the son of Late Most Superior Evangelist Abraham Ajose has officially declared his interest in contesting for the governorship seat of Lagos State in 2027 General Election.
Samuel Mawuyon Ajose is the son of the late Most Superior Evangelist Abraham Ajose, a respected Shepherd in the fold, who dedicated much of his life to the growth and sustainability of the Church. During his lifetime, the late shepherd served tirelessly for the progress of the Church and was recognized as one of its International Representatives, contributing significantly to the administration and global outreach of the Celestial fold.
Inspired by this legacy of service, Samuel Mawuyon Ajose has stepped forward with a vision to extend that same commitment to the political and developmental landscape of Lagos State. A native of Badagry and a prominent figure within the All Progressives Congress (APC), Samuel Mawuyon Ajose has been actively involved in political mobilization and party development, earning recognition among party stakeholders and grassroots supporters.
Speaking on his ambition, Samuel Mawuyon Ajose emphasized that his decision is driven by a strong desire to serve the people and advance progressive policies that will strengthen the socio-economic development of the state.
“Lagos State remains a beacon of opportunity in Nigeria. My aspiration is not merely political; it is a call to service. I believe strongly that leadership must be about people, development, and the courage to create opportunities for every citizen,” Ajose said.
He further highlighted his commitment to infrastructural development, youth empowerment, and social inclusion; “The Lagos of our dream must be a state where infrastructure supports growth, where our young people have access to real opportunities, and where governance prioritizes the welfare of the less privileged. With the right policies and collective effort, Lagos can achieve even greater heights.”
Samuel Mawuyon Ajose also stressed the importance of visionary leadership and inclusive governance. “Leadership must reflect compassion, innovation, and accountability. Our administration will focus on policies that uplift communities, empower entrepreneurs, and ensure that the prosperity of Lagos reaches every corner of the state.”
As political activities gradually begin to shape the landscape ahead of the next electoral cycle in Lagos State, Ajose’s declaration has begun to generate conversations among political observers, party leaders, and residents who are keenly watching the emerging dynamics within the state’s political space. For many, his ambition represents a unique blend of spiritual heritage, grassroots connection, and political aspiration, an intersection of faith-inspired values and a forward-looking vision for governance.
