Despite lingering internal disputes, court processes, and unsuccessful reconciliation efforts, Celestial Church of Christ worldwide once again demonstrated the enduring strength of its foundational mandate as major control centres Imeko, Eleko, and Agase observed the annual Christmas Eve (Cross-Over) Service on Tuesday, 24th December 2025.
The sacred service, a long-standing spiritual instruction instituted by the Pastor Founder, Rev. Pastor Samuel Biléhou Joseph Oshoffa reaffirms the Church’s commitment to worshipping God in unity at the close of every calendar year, regardless of prevailing challenges.
At the Imeko World Headquarters, Rev. Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa led the Ketu faction in a solemn and spiritually charged service. His message centered on unity, obedience, and the preservation of the divine vision upon which the Church was founded.
Simultaneously, at Eleko Beach, Rev. Pastor Beni Omoge led worshippers of his faction in observance of the same Christmas Eve Service, while at Porto-Novo, Republic of Benin, the Supreme Headquarters hosted another gathering conducted by Rev. Pastor Adeogun, all on the same historic date.
Across all locations, worshippers gathered under their respective leaderships with a shared acknowledgment and recognition of Rev. Pastor S.B.J. Oshoffa as the Pastor Founder of the Celestial Church of Christ, whose spiritual instructions continue to guide the Church’s worship life.
The simultaneous observance of the Christmas Eve Service across different control centres once again highlights the enduring spiritual heritage of the Celestial Church of Christ and underscores the centrality of faith, worship, and divine instruction above human divisions.
