The passing of Parish Woleader Abraham Johnson Olajuwon on 1st January 2025, after the Cross Over Service was a moment that captured the attention of the world during the Sunday Glorious Service at Celestial Church of Christ International Headquarters in Ketu, Lagos State on 4th January 2025. The Parish Shepherd dedicated a special remark to honour the late Prophet, who was known for his righteous ways and unwavering commitment to the work of God.
During a live stream on the Parish’s Facebook page, V/S/E Tosho Oshoffa expressed his admiration for the way in which the late Prophet passed on to join the saints. He stated, “I prefer to die like that, when I will observe the service, eat communion, and chant Jerimoyahmah.” This declaration resonated deeply among the parishioners, highlighting the profound impact of the late Prophet’s life and legacy.
During the service, the congregation was asked to rise in honour of the departed soul and applaud in remembrance of Woleader Olajuwon. The shepherd assured the attendees that Woleader is now in the presence of God, free from any earthly afflictions. He expressed his preference for such a peaceful passing, where there is no need for others to care for him in sickness, blindness, or paralysis. The shepherd confidently stated that he believes heaven is a place of eternal bliss, where he and Woleader will reunite at the feet of Jesus Christ.
In a gesture of support, V/S/E Tosho Oshoffa announced that for the next year, financial assistance will be provided to Woleader’s wife and children. The burial arrangements for Prophet Olajuwon are scheduled to begin on 9th January 2025 at CCC International Headquarters Ketu, Lagos State. A Service of Song will be held at 5pm, followed by the departure of the body from Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, on 10th January 2025 at 8am. A farewell service will take place at 10am at CCC International Headquarters Ketu, with the internment to follow at Western Cemetery in Abule Eko, Ijede Ikorodu, Lagos State.
