As clearly stated in Sections 198 and 199 of our Church Constitution, the Church authorities have consistently emphasized the spiritual and doctrinal importance of the anointing exercise. This sacred exercise was divinely instituted to fulfil God’s process for His people, just as recorded in the Holy Scriptures—Samuel first anointed Saul, and later anointed David according to God’s will.
From the inception of Celestial Church of Christ, the anointing exercise has been guided strictly by seniority and spiritual growth, as provided in Sections 185 to 188 of the Church Constitution. Unfortunately, in recent times, the original process has been greatly abused. The collapse of institutional discipline has encouraged a system where individuals attain senior clerical ranks within a short period, sometimes barely five years through overtaking, favoritism, and anointing racketeering.
Despite this distortion of doctrine and abuse of sacred procedures, truth, integrity, and uprightness still stand out. Those who genuinely deserve and merit clerical ranks are never hidden; their records speak clearly for them. Even in the midst of widespread compromise, men of character continue to rise-men whose lives, service, and consistency testify to their calling.
One such man is the Shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ National Headquarters, Makoko, Lagos State, Assistant Most Superior Evangelist AFSI KIKI, whose investiture took place on Sunday, 4th January 2026.
A/M/S/E Afsi Kiki has remained a shining example of discipline, doctrinal loyalty, humility, and steadfast service. In an era of abuse of privilege, he has stood firm, demonstrating the true values of Celestial spirituality and leadership through his way of life and pastoral conduct.
Significantly, the first official public duty of the Pastor, Rev. EMF Oshoffa, was his physical appearance at the CCC National Headquarters, Makoko, Lagos State, in line with long-standing tradition. As practiced by his predecessor, the Pastor joined the congregation to celebrate the first Sunday service of the year.
The Pastor personally oversaw the investiture process, which was conducted through the sacred dressing by the Fourth Hierarchy leaders of the Church, Most Superior Evangelist Ajao. The ceremony was solemn, dignified, and spiritually uplifting befitting the weight of the office and the integrity of the recipient.
In every ramification spiritually, constitutionally, and morally A/M/S/E AFSI KIKI DESERVES IT. HE MERITS THE RANK.
