It was indeed a moment of grace at the 57th Annual Adult Harvest of Celestial Church of Christ, Ore Ofe Cathedral, Iponri, Ebutte Metta, Lagos State, held on Sunday, 2nd November 2025. The celebration of thanksgiving and renewal became much more than a harvest—it was a sacred encounter with divine favour, and a testimony to the enduring faith of a royal servant of God, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Friday Oladele Kosoko, JP, MPIC, the Oniworo of Iworo Awori Land, Badagry, Lagos State.
The cathedral was filled to overflowing, as worshippers, dignitaries, and faithful members gathered in joyful reverence to give thanks for God’s abundant blessings. The highlight of the event was the presence of the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa, who graced the occasion alongside his brother and personal assistant, Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa. Their attendance brought warmth, honour, and apostolic affirmation to the parish and the entire celebration.
Yet, the atmosphere was lifted even higher when the congregation turned their heartfelt appreciation toward Oba Dr. Friday Oladele Kosoko, a man whose faith and generosity have become a light in the Celestial Church of Christ. As the Chairman of Imeko Mercyland Committee and a lifelong member of the Celestial fold, the monarch has continued to embody the noble fusion of royalty and spirituality, serving both God and humanity with humility, vision, and a heart of gold.
His Majesty’s unwavering contributions to the growth and development of the Church—particularly in Imeko, the sacred cradle of the Celestial Church—remain a testimony of what it means to use one’s influence and wealth for God’s glory. Beyond his royal duties, Oba Kosoko has stood as a committed member of the vineyard, a benefactor to the needy, and a faithful promoter of peace and unity within the body of Christ.
The 57th Harvest of CCC Ore Ofe Cathedral was, therefore, not just a harvest of fruits and blessings—it was a harvest of grace, honour, and gratitude, marking another chapter in the living testimony of a king after God’s heart.
As the hymn “Ore Ofe Baba Mimo” filled the air, one could sense the unmistakable presence of God—reminding all that every act of faith, every seed sown in love, and every service rendered to the Church never goes unnoticed before Heaven.
